With joomla, control of the content, updates of the site, and other simple and other complex site maintenance is in the hands of the customer. No more waiting on your IT guy or webmaster to update your site. Just log in, change the content in a word processor type editor, save the change, refresh the site and the change is made without needing to know any code.
